Creative Victoria

Creative Victoria is the state government body dedicated to championing, growing and supporting Victoria’s creative industries. Creative Victoria invests in the ideas, talent, organisations, events and projects that make Victoria a creative state. Creative Victoria’s role is to ensure the project is delivered within government policy objectives and commitments.

Development Victoria

Development Victoria is the Victorian Government’s in-house project delivery agency (previously Major Projects Victoria). Development Victoria is responsible for project management and delivery and funding expenditure.

Design team

A consortium of Architectus and Schmidt Hammer Lassen have been appointed as the design team for the redevelopment. They will be supported by a range of specialists, including Andronas Conservation Architecture, whose expertise encompasses  adaptation and restoration of heritage interiors and historic buildings.

Built construction group

Built construction group are the head contractor for the $88.1 million Vision 2020 redevelopment. Built has a strong history of delivering projects in constrained central business district locations, having previously worked on projects such as Canberra’s Australian War Memorial, Sydney’s State Theatre and the Melbourne GPO Building.
